July 7: Tag sale! Save up those "What-were-you-thinking" items--someone else will LOVE it!!  

August 4:  Potluck plus a speaker (probably Rescue Quilt lady)

November 10 : Budget discussion and a workshop 

December 1:  Holiday potluck and auction!

"Dat Quilt Lady" will demonstrate one of her newest rulers and how to make a gorgeous pieced quilt--maybe even from scraps! Visit www.datquiltlady.com.

Woman from Guilford who "rescues quilts." She'll tell you how to spot a gem at tag and garage sales, how to repair it, and how to sell it for more money or use it yourself!

Past Programs included:

January Member Nini Munro-Chmuro will give a trunk show of at least some of her 60 quilts! She won the Viewers' Favorite prize at the August 2007 quilt show. She's very creative and talented and you'll love her patterns and colors. February  Community service--Marty will give us directions to make blocks to be sewn into quilts for those in need. Directions for preparing your fabric PRIOR to the meeting.  No machines needed.  (Click here for full details) March : A panel of members will give mini-demos on topics YOU want to know more about and then answer your questions. Real advice/suggestions from real experts whom we all know and love! April: Marian Bressel will bring lots of very special African fabrics that she'll let us, yes!, touch. She'll talk about where they come from and what they're used for and how they're made. And before and after her presentation, she'll have bolts of fabric that you can buy! All from Africa..May:  Joanne Sullivan "The Magnificent Seven" seven quilts that have been pieced from 2 1/2" strips - Workshop to be held on May 30th June:Yankee Quilts Anne Gallo and Susan Raban, Trunk Show - Workshop will also be scheduled www.yankeequilts.com ;  Workshop:  Simple Shapes
